Linux & hosting operations

Strong infrastructure.
Fewer loose ends.

Linux server administration and hosting support across cPanel/WHM, Plesk and DirectAdmin, with hands-on troubleshooting from the network to PHP.

Server issues rarely respect the boundary between teams.

An incident might start with a certificate, DNS, disk usage, a database or a web server. I investigate those layers together and explain what needs to change, what can wait and what needs ongoing attention.

What the work can include

  • Diagnose Nginx, Apache, LiteSpeed and PHP service issues.
  • Manage DNS, SSL/TLS and hosting control-panel configuration.
  • Investigate MySQL/MariaDB, Redis and resource bottlenecks.
  • Review access, service hardening, backups and alerting.
  • Plan migrations with preflight checks, cutover steps and rollback.

What you receive

An agreed operating scope, documented configuration changes and practical recovery notes. Monitoring and maintenance cadence are defined in the proposal.

Typical engagement

Typical engagement

Ad-hoc server work$35–$50/hour

Troubleshooting, migrations and defined administration tasks.

Ongoing server management$99–$249/month

Ongoing server management for an agreed operational scope.

Final scope and fee are agreed before work begins. Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted separately.

24/7 incident response is not included unless agreed. Hosting/cloud fees and software licences remain separate unless explicitly included.

Questions before we start

Which control panels do you support?

cPanel/WHM, Plesk and DirectAdmin, alongside Linux web services. I confirm the operating system, versions and exact task before committing to work.

Can you move my website to another server?

Yes, within an agreed migration scope. The plan accounts for files, databases, DNS, certificates, email dependencies, validation and rollback. Zero downtime is not assumed.
